✨In commemoration of Dr. Kitty's late mother (Mrs Wong), we are dedicating our annual sterilization day to her. Her passion and commitment for the stray animals over the last 30 years will continue to inspire and motivate many others contributing towards the community.✨
At Furiends, we pride ourselves in helping and serving our community to the best we can. Providing affordable sterilization is essential in managing the stray cat population and is our little way of contributing back to our community.

❥ 1 (ONE) NRIC / FIN can register up to 2 (TWO) cats only.
❥ Left ear will be tipped (no request for shallow tip).
❥ No extra services such as ear cleaning / nail trim / vaccination / microchip implantation etc.
❥ Cat must be transported and admitted in a Hard Case Carrier.
❥ 1 (ONE) cat in each carrier only.
❥ For slot confirmation, we require a *𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲* payment of $𝟮𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁.

Kudos to Singapore Civil Defence Force for treating all living things the same! May all the cats have a speedy recovery! 🙏

[SCDF rescues 14 cats from fire]

On 21 April 2022 at about 8.30am, SCDF was alerted to a fire at Block 422 Fajar Road.

The fire involved the contents of a service yard in a unit on the second floor of the block.

Firefighters from Bukit Batok Fire Station conducted forcible entry into the unit and extinguished the fire using three compressed air foam backpacks.

SCDF rescued 14 cats that were found unconscious within the unit. The firefighters, some of them cross-trained as emergency medical technicians, provided oxygen and conducted CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on the cats. 13 of the cats eventually regained consciousness, while one had passed away.

About 20 people were evacuated from neighbouring units as a precautionary measure.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
