I'm very happy to share our breeding plans for Shawdi's C-litter this fall.
Mother of this litter will be our Helmi - S Fin Ch NW1 Shawdi Are You Gonna Go My Way. Helmi is an easy going and sociable girl, with a mischevious twinkle in her eye and a will of her own. She has been mentality tested and competes in NoseWork. Helmi is the daughter of my special old boy Buddha - Multi Ch Roseridge Royal Rock, who has had a long and healthy life and at 14 years of age is still going strong. Buddha in turn, is from an AI-litter by very old semen from American Champion Rob Norm Shara's G Dagga, who was born in 1977. I'm particularily pleased to be carrying on this old bloodline.
The carefully selected sire for Helmi's litter is Cedar - Rex Ventors Yosemite. At two years of age and from very limited showing, Cedar is on 2 x CAC and has a BOB and a BIG-2 under his belt. Cedar is mentality tested, showing him to be a level headed and sociable boy with good nerves and good response recovery. Cedar's lovely sire Aganju also goes back to some American lines. Cedar's dam is the grand daughter of the famous Multi Ch European Winner Rex Ventors Helinn and daughter of a personal favorite, Ch Rex Ventors Taz (who is also half brother to my old boy Azlan).
The 5 generation COI for this combination is 0.98%.
We are hoping for balanced dogs in body and mind, with breed typical outlines and heads and all the characteristics to make a good family companion. Inquiries are welcome.
