Dimmans Stuteri / Dimmans New Forest Stud, Sweden Uppfödare av New Forestponnyer sedan 1991 / Breeder of New Forest ponies since 1991. Approved stal "Dimmans New Forest Stud" was established in 1991.

The stud is in Scania, southern Sweden, less than an hour's drive from the Öresund Bridge. We are located about 75 km east of the Danish capital Copenhagen. The stud has a very small business. In 2017, we have two approved and licensed stallions and three broodmares, three old retired broodmares, two foals and some youngstock. We are breeding New Forest ponies and our children in the family has a

little Gotland Pony for riding. We want to breed ponies for sports, especially for showjumping and eventing. Our ideal is a brave pony with large capacity and a huge great heart. Since 1991 we have bred about 60 ponies, most of them are New Forest ponies, but also some crossbred ponies, connemara ponies and a pair of Gotland Pony. Usually we have ponies for sale, especially foals or youngstock. Some of our breedings have been sold to the Netherlands and the USA. We have our approved stallion Dimmans Eros RNF 182 for breeding in 2016. Dimmans Emir RNF 208 is not in breed the season 2017. Welcome to visit us!

DIMMANS ELLINGTON born June 2024, by Polsbury Pessoa out of Dimmans Estancia, dam's sire Miclas Activ, dam's dam Dimmans Elmia (by Silverlea Buckskin).

His mother Estancia is full sister to Dimmans Electron, Prestatie dekhengst at Stal Koetsiershoeve, NL. Dam's dam Dimmans Elmia is the mother of six approved and licensed stallions, the most famous is Dimmans Eros who has taken bronze medal at the European championship in eventing, he has taken medals at the Nordic & Baltic championships in showjumping and eventing, and many medals from the Swedish championships in eventing and showjumping.

Ellington is very kind, friendly, confident and easy to learn. He is true to type with a nice head, he has correct and strong legs and well-balanced and rhythmic movements. He is a stallion prospect for a breeder who has high demands that the pony should have the potential to succeed on the competition tracks together with young riders. Expected height as an adult 145+ cm.
