Its a Girl! Zyrano's first foal has arrived! 🥳🎉
It is a filly out of a Quasimodo van de Molendreef mare, congratulations to Breeder Lisa Guggenberger. Zyrano is by Zinedream out of our lovely Blanche (Balou du Rouet x Calido).
The little filly can not deny her sire, visibly but also based on her self-confidence and trusting nature.
What we can see so far is a good topline, a nicely sloping croup and a very efficient 'engine' resulting in a lovely uphill gallop . We believe that it was a very good match, but see for yourself!

Zyrano du Welle - first foal of our very special hanoverian premium mare Blanche du Welle.
She won her mares test with 9/9,5 for her jumping.
His sire Zinedream, top jumper and successful breeding stallion. Winner of the Great Price of Abu Dhabi CSI5*, more wins like the Global Champions League Springen (1,60 m) of Riesenbeck, the World-Cup Riyadh (1,60 m), the Großen Preis of Ising and plenty of high level international placings.
Zyrano can not deny his father just looking at him, we are very excited that his first foals are expected this year! Will they look just like him?

Born last night around 9 pm, a c**t out of Sadira´s daughter Desadira. We are very excited about this promising combination of the very special Viva Vegas with Desadira by the outstanding Destacado. With four white legs and a touch of white in his face the little chap already stands out a bit compared to most descendants of this mareline.
Little nervous and irritated for a moment Desadira quickly switched into full mum mode, almost hard to believe it`s her first foal. She lovingly looks after her son, carefully checking every visitor, at the same time accepting our help very calmly. So far they are doing great and we are relieved that the last foal for this year has landed. It is always more uncertain with mares foaling for the first time and we had two this year, both very uncomplicated so far.

Waiting for the last foal for this year for us, the first one for Desadira! Desadira takes over her Mother Sadira's spot in our breeding program. Very exciting to see how her first foal will look like.

...and here she is, Fiora's first foal, a graceful little princess born on the 14th of May! Fortuna's branch of the mare line continues!
In spite of help from us, the birth was really exhausting for Fiora. It took a while for her to recover, but what a great Mum she was. Licking her baby and checking on her constantly. So proud of her how well she coped and lovely she was. That it happened late afternoon is not only very comfortable for the breeder but also a sign of great trust on Fiora's side. 🥹❤
