Los Perros Urban Farming is a market garden that is based in Vintrie, Malmö on ca.3000m2 within the city limits. We provide to many of Malmö’s best restaurants, also our own Café - FLAX. We also have all our products under the new name Pepper Pepper Deli. Co-founders of REKO-Ring Malmö �

We are always experimenting with new crops while of course, growing the classics at the same time. We aim to u

se everything that we produce and are always testing out new ways to raise our crops to get the maximum yield while caring for the soil and thinking of the next crop that will be in its place. We grow using ORGANIC principles and follow Permaculture guidelines.

It’s happening - Birds are landing! 🦅
Ok bear with me, the images aren’t great - BUT, zoom in! We have loads of predatory birds flying around the farm, we also have a serious vole issue, the solution, build some towers for them to land on! Standing at 5.5m high, we decided to use wire to make tent like structures with a landing pad on top.
NOW WE FINALLY SAW A KITE SITTING ON TOP OF ONE! We’ve noticed crows & other small birds landing on them, but this was the first time we’ve seen one of the bigger predators atop one. 🦅 A huge moment!

With 8 wires flaring out we also decided to plant hops at the base of each, this will create the perfect conditions for the hops to grow, making them have more uses than 1! Hopefully they’ll look like giant hop Christmas trees in a few months.

🧨 KIMCHI & MARMALADE BACK IN STOCK. 🧨
This is how we always walk down the street, what… you don’t?! Weirdo. Now that that’s out of the way I’m here to inform you that Oskar was walking towards FLAX with this tray - which means KIMCHI IS IN THE HOUSE. But there’s a limited amount right now, more being made all the time and has been busy bubbling away for months & months now - so the plan is to ALWAYS be in stock. 🤓
So - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

Bit of a scary morning heading to the farm after this weeks crazy storm. The doors had blown off & some other damages, managed to get them back up & secured. One more night to get through - Hoping it’s not too crazy, then the worst is supposed to have passed. 🤞😅

Our Story

Sofia, Buddha, Stretch the Dog and our newest member, Cleo, our daughter, are: Los Perros Urban Farming. We are a market garden that is now based in Vintrie, Malmö (Sweden's South) on 2500m2. We are one of Sweden’s first commercial urban farms. We’re always experimenting with new crops while of course, growing the classics at the same time. We aim to use everything that we produce and are always testing out new ways to raise our crops to get the maximum yield while caring for the soil and thinking of the next crop that will be in its place. We use hand tools, natural & organic fertalisers & are of course - a poison Free farm!

We are co-founders of REKO-Ring Malmö (fb group), but also sell to many of Malmö’s favorite restaurants like Lyran, Västergatan, Julie, Qué, Mutantur, Bouchón, Riket & more.

We are now starting a new adventure; FLAX! Stay tuned.
