Still can't believe what happened last Sunday! Still flying high!

Sunday A'Acqua Di Gio Van De Duca Vallei "Justino" became Best In Show at the Portuguese Waterdog Specialty in Västerås Sweden.

I can't forget Watercoat A Head Full Of Dreams "Yelena" whom also got Excellent and CK in champion class with very lovely critics and her (half) siblings Aqua Wind's Hope Of Success, Watercoat Little Miss Sunshine and Watercoat Easy Rider whom became Best Junior! 🤩
BIG thanks to the judge who thought so highly of our dogs.

I was a bit overwhelmed by al the results and all the lovely prices we received! ☺️🥰

It was a very warm day but that didn't made the day any less more fun! It was great to meet everyone and especially for me to meet some of Justino’s offspring again and for the first time 🥰😍🤩

I want to thank everyone who participated. The atmosphere outside and inside the ring was wonderful! And ofcourse big thanks to the organizers, sponsors and volunteers who made the Specialty possible.
And I want to give an other BIG thanks to the lovely breed judge.

Ni alla är guld värd!

We Hope to see you all again in 2027 with my new generation and a veteran Justino.

About Doce Eneas

My name is Denise Schmidt and I have been surrounded by animals since I got my first pet at the age of 6. I have always loved all kind of animals and took care of them myself. As I knew I wanted to be working with animals I went to an agricultural school when I was 12 years old. Here we worked with small animals, reptiles and cattle as well. At the age of 16 I had chosen to specialise in small animals. It was a broad spectrum of animal care with a lot of internships. I have worked att a vet hospital, a pet shop, doggy day care centre and grooming saloons as an intern. I early on discoverd my passion for dog grooming and that is where I came in contact with my first PWD in 2007. I fell in love with the pupper and came in contact with the breeder Ilona Griffioen- van Beek/Casa Hoya`s.

In 2009 I got my first PWD Dulce. She was bred out off one of Casa Hoya`s females whom great grand mother was the beginning of Casa Hoya`s legacy of PWD`s. Dulce went everywere with me. We worked "togheter" in "our"own grooming saloon. Went for long walks and trained obedience, agility, dog dance and water work. I was lucky that Dulce also loved to show! We went, still going actually, to dog shows in verious countrys and with great succes!

In december 2013 I got a phone call from Ilona that she had a female PWD that needed to go "on vacation" for a while due to the current owners health and the dogs mental crazyness. And so Sisley came to stay with me and Dulce and my greyhound mix from spain in januari 2014. Her vacation has been prospned to a life time ;) She is a crazy brownie that keeps me occupeid 24/7
