I do occasionally have puppies and they may be available to the right person. The right person is committed to this rare numbered breed, high level of engagement, has studied the breed, breed history, status of recognition, health and much more for some time, and has a good and knowledgable mentor in the breed. There are so few of these dogs in the world that ev
ery owner is automatically a breed embassador. For this reason I do require quite a lot of knowledge about the breed for people who wants a puppy. To know about dogs in general and a lot about sighthounds is one thing, to know about a rare breed that is not recognized in most countries and what that really means in all aspects of owning, showing, doing performance sports and maybe breeding etc , that is something else. There is nothing wrong about being a “newbie”, we all started that way, but I require a little bit more if you want a puppy from me. For people outside Sweden that are interested in a puppy, you will need a sponsor from within the Silken community.
