🟪 5-7 minutes per one ear.

🟪 Result: extra thin and fluffy hairs totally removed => it will take them some time to grow back => longer effect compared to the scissors trimming only.

Module 7: trimming before the show 🏆

A lot of video lessons with different Aussies. The techniques are different from module 6 and much more nuances about getting breed silhouette.

Module 6. Here we start trimming ✂️ pet and hygiene. This is the last module for “Groomer” study plan.

Lessons are getting bigger and consist of many videos with different dogs.

Students start to have busy weekends because most of them did the practice during the weekend days.

I want to input a new methodology. We tested it a bit and it has shown great results. So that practice gets easier.

My first show grooming experience 😁 in 2007

It was our first CACIB show with Queeny in Junior class.

I knew I screwed up 😎 especially with the ears… but knowing mistakes is a great opportunity to upgrade the skills and get better result.

One of the first secrets I got from my friend who had successful show golden retriever is “shorter hair gives more volume”

I had to interpret it for Aussie later. Now I have better collection of optical effects in show grooming 🤗

But I love to remember those times when I just started to learn.
