We had a busy weekend. On Friday we travelled to our club show, where three dogs bred by me achieved the following results: 2× Exc1 CAC and 1× Exc4 (this was in a very large class — unfortunately I don’t know the exact number of entries, but there were a lot).
We arrived home late on Saturday evening, and at 1 a.m. we left again for Germany for the Bayerische Kurzhaar-Klub Zuchtschau. We took two dogs of our own breeding, plus two German import dogs belonging to a friend, and one of my proudest achievements — a dog bred by me who lives in the breed’s home country — also participated.
All dogs successfully received their breeding qualification. As an outstanding result, Dottie Oberon Haus entered the adult class for the first time and finished with an excellent V2, and Feith von der Keltenschanze placed first among the young males.
Over the weekend we travelled more than 1600 kilometres and slept only a few hours. Dog people are not normal :)
