Who would have thought... When you think you've seen everything that can be seen in aquascaping, ADA publishes the Top 127 layouts on IAPLC 2016 and rubs your face right in it. Wonder how far this can be pushed :D Anyway, kudos to all of you who participated, hope to see you next year!

That's just brilliant. I always asked a friend to give me a hand when trimming these beauties but when no one's around, it turns out, all you need is an air hose and a cable fastener :D How come I never thought of this before?!

James Findley, founder of The Green Machine, is a real artist. Anyone who says otherwise is lying :P His "Altitude" scape even inspired me to try my luck at going vertical. That being said, I've always been a fan of tanks with a reasonable depth compared to their height... Up to the day I found this piece of lavarock awesomeness :D

Special thanks to my dad for giving me a hand during the photo shooting, not to mention all those minor miracles he performed on the tank while I was away! Wow! The IAPLC Steering Committee announced to have reviewed the judging criteria for contest entries. Does this mean the traditional aquascaping styles and the truly natural layouts are more likely to make it to the top 27 this year? Nobody knows. Make sure to check the International Aquatic Plant Layout Contest official site as updates should come online soon.
