It is with a heavy heart that I announce today that my wonderful, first love, T**e is no longer physically with us - since 5 months. I couldn’t get myself to write it. He will always be in my heart and thoughts, forever my love, friend, companion.
Today it’s been one week since I met this little guy. Unbelievably, unplanned, not predicted in any way, I traveled home with him on the exact anniversary of 5 months from T**e’s death at age 15. A new beginning filled with renewed love and optimism.
This little one comes from Denmark, he is 13 weeks old and hasn’t got a main name yet. This golden boy looks a lot like T**e, same breed, Danish-Swedish Farmdog, he is wonderful and tiny.
I haven’t known T**e as a puppy, as I had adopted him from a shelter in Denmark at the age of 1.5 years. Now I can imagine him.
This is another dog, of course and there is no comparison, only sweet memories and lessons learned.
Welcome into my life and heart, little one. And T**e, you were so much loved by everyone who knew you, my dear, and I have so much to be grateful to you. Thank you and I was blessed to be able to give you a good life and to hold your paw, to tell you how much I loved you and what a good boy you were, right until the end.
