Update: sadly, all 3 orphan kittens died. 😿🤍
Yesterday, I was too shocked by the situation of the kittens and I didn't realize what their story was, actually, considering everything as a classic and usual case of abandonment and cruelty. The mother cat gave birth to the kittens somewhere, in the city, on the concrete in the yard of a company. And she vanished. No one knows where or why. The kittens remained there, still in the placenta. 2 dead, 2 with deformed paws, only 1 is normal, if I may say so. Someone called the animal police. They went there, took over the kittens and entrusted them to me. In the meantime, the black kitten died. It is one of the saddest and most unjust situations I have encountered, in all the years I have been working as a rescuer. I feel tired and old, emotionally and psychologically speaking, as if I had lived for centuries. I would like to be able to leave without looking back. But when 2 kittens, 1 day old, weigh about 70 g each, fight with all their might to live, I can only stand by them, 1 day, 1 week or 10 years, if necessary. 🙏🐾
