Happy Day, Happy Storm Adoption Day for Sassy, now Iris ❤️

We couldn't be more delighted than to announce the forever home and amazing forever family for gorgeous Iris 🥰

We featured her a while back and still she waited, then came the storm (who we all now admit was a tough time but kind of worth it) 🤷. Sassy went into foster care, when she needed to come back a second foster was found......and that has turned into forever. She finally found her place and it is right where she is meant to be.

Thank you for choosing adoption, for choosing Iris and for giving her a happy ever after ❤️🙏

Introducing Nyx, Fifi, Suki, Enzo & Athena 💔

You never really know the extent of a rescue until the dogs are physically with you and assessment takes place. This sad group has a multitude of problems that will all need to be sorted in time 😢

Nyx (black GSD) and Athena (Malinois) are both very sick and the catalogue of neglect is evident.

Tick disease, emaciated, dehydrated, skin problems.....quite a list to deal with. They are safe now and we will update.

Step by step we will get them through this, if you can help please contact Royal Vet Clinic or message us for Fawran to contribute direct (Ref: The AK 5) 🙏

Happy Day, Happy International Adoption Day for Pancake (now Cain) ❤️

Another lucky pup is starting a new life in the UK. Cain has an amazing home with a previous adopter, who loves her first Doha rescue so much she just needed another 🎉

We know he's going to be living his best life and the process of overseas adoption is worth every piece of the puzzle required to get him there 😂

Thank you for choosing adoption (again), for choosing Cain and for giving him his happy ever after 🙏

Another group of dogs is not what we needed but we got to the point where stepping in and finding a space was the only way to save them 💔

We have known about them for sometime, tried to come up with other options, suggested ways to move forward but nothing was changing, they were fading before our eyes 😔

So now they are with us and we really need your support to get through these "quiet" summer months (high intakes, low adoptions, fosters travelling and running costs at their highest). 🙏

Rescue is who we are and what we do but we seriously have now reached our absolute limit, change is needed and can't come soon enough 😢

With the temperature soaring and the humidity at its worst we are experiencing such a high demand to get suffering cats and dogs off the streets to safety 💔

We are seeing so many cases where they do not adapt, they do not cope, they do not manage their new normal. If you can't stand to be out in the heat for too long how can you expect them too?

We are doing everything we can to help and really are pushed to our limits.....we need your support more than ever. A share, a like, a foster, an adoption, everything counts 🙏

This gorgeous mummy is now safe and her one pup is doing ok, time will tell 😢

Sometimes a little help goes a long way ❤️

This little one is living and being well cared for at a workshop, sadly as a curious kitten she got into a bit of trouble with some fishing equipment.....the staff reached out as vet fees were out of their reach but they wanted to help her.

A quick trip to our vets to have the fish hook removed, get cream and antibiotics and back to where she belongs was all that was needed ✅

Your continued support helps us to step in for cases like this, so thank you all for making a difference, one rescue at a time 🙏

Time to formally introduce Louis ❤️

This poor little boy has suffered too much for one so young, he's facing life as a blind cat due to a massive eye infection. Sadly he's just one of hundreds suffering on the streets and it's impossible to help them all 💔

Louis has shown he's a fighter and he deserves a chance to live a full life (once he's ready). Currently he needs to grow a bit more before having the surgery he needs so we are looking for a foster home. 🙏

We will provide everything he needs and will keep in touch, our fosters are our responsibility and that never changes.....can anyone take him in for a few weeks?

He does need daily medication, a safe space, good food and lots of love ✅

Help us help him, he's needs our amazing community now 🥰

Amber is the QAWS representative for today and she's hoping her cute face can get us a little summer help 🥰

As most people are aware we don't get funding, we rely totally on our amazing community to run the shelter. Keeping our power running 24/7 through the hottest months causes sleepless nights as the diesel bill comes round so fast 😔

Our priority is keeping all our rescues cool and their air conditioning running - they deserve the comfort - from cats to dogs to birds to rabbits......🤷

We have a 2500 litre delivery every week (costing QR 5875/£1200) and would be so grateful if anyone could donate, even a little, every penny counts.
