Happy Day, Happy Storm Adoption Day for Phoenix ❀️

And still they come, we are celebrating another emergency foster rescue who found his way into the home and hearts of his forever family πŸŽ‰

Phoenix is a special boy, his adoption chances were low, despite him being gorgeous, gentle and loving, he has a "little deformity" which made him "not perfect". πŸ˜”

His new mum and dad adore him and to them he is simply perfect, we couldn't be happier to see Phoenix find his amazing forever match who have helped him adjust to life outside the shelter and become the dog he deserves to be πŸ₯°

Thank you for helping when we needed you, for choosing Phoenix and for giving him his happy ever after πŸ™

We love our community visits πŸ₯°

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteer group from "The Ned Hotel" who braved the rising temperatures for their CSR visit 😊

Thank you for the donations and for giving up your time to spend it with our rescues. Lots of dog walks, cat cuddles and farm animal fun made for a lovely evening πŸ™

Sadly through July & August we can only do limited visits and timings as people travel, temperatures rise and the rescues time out is much later in the day.....but contact us if your looking to arrange something and we will accommodate you if we can ❀️

Remember Magnar? This poor young boy has endured weeks and weeks of treatment and has continued to stay sweet, loving, grateful and happy ❀️

When he came in we didn't even know if he would survive or if his injuries could be treated....he's a fighter, he has taken it all in his stride and proved he has the will to go on and live a happy life.

Again, Dr Leo at Royal Vet Clinic has performed a miracle, persevering through every step and surgery and coming up with solutions to multiple problems along the way. Magnar is very special to everyone who has got him this far and we'd all like nothing more than to see him discharged

Finally, after 3 months in a cage at the vets he will be allowed to leave BUT only if we can find him a foster home to continue the final healing and build up his muscles πŸ₯°

He can't come straight to the shelter so we are looking for a few weeks of quiet, calm foster care. Please help us get him out πŸ™

He does not require anything medical from his foster but he will continue vet checks for a couple of weeks. Full support given and everything he needs will be supplied 😊

And although it is secondary, you can only imagine what his invoice is 😱 if you can help please request Fawran and Bank transfer details direct to Royal Vets.

Happy Day, Happy Adoption Day for Charlotte ❀️

The next of our small gang to have found her forever family is Charlotte. She is going to be so loved and totally spoiled, just look at those happy faces πŸ₯°

We are so lucky to have amazing local adoptions and grateful to see the rising numbers of people looking to adopt not shop πŸŽ‰

Rescues have all sorts of dogs, small, medium and large (cats and kittens too)....take a look if you are considering a new family member 😊

For us the first step is always to visit the shelter please.

Thank you for choosing adoption, for choosing Charlotte and for giving her a happy ever after πŸ™

Happy Day, Happy Adoption Day for Pipsqueak (now Hope) ❀️

The first post of our very lucky small gang, gorgeous little Hope has found an amazing forever home and is settling in with her new mum, dad and fur siblings πŸ₯°

When they came to us these little dogs were scared, nervous, withdrawn and needed alot of love to help them start to trust again πŸ’”

But that is all behind them now and Hope is thriving in her new home, she has become the dog she deserves to be. Safe, loved, cared for and with a secure future πŸŽ‰

Thank you for choosing adoption, for choosing Hope and for giving her a happy ever after πŸ™

Happy Day, Happy "Double Storm" Adoption Day for Zoe & Zara ❀️❀️

What an incredible outcome for these girls, adopted together forever by their foster mum....and they couldn't have found a more perfect match πŸŽ‰

Taking on a pair of large dogs is a big commitment and takes a lot of thinking about. While the girls were in foster we were looking at overseas options for them. When their RATT tests came back and we started talking travel their mum realised they were home already and had become part of the family, all the necessary thinking had been done 😊🏑

These girls don't know how lucky they are and we know they are in the best hands πŸ₯°

Thank you for helping in our hour of need, for choosing adoption and for giving Zoe & Zara their happy ever after πŸ™

Another day, another rescue πŸ’”

We never know what's coming next and what might need our help. This gorgeous little one was found in the rubbish, unable to fly, weak, dehydrated and clearly sick πŸ˜”

We are very lucky (and incredibly grateful) to always have the support of through Oryx Veterinary Center and he is now in expert hands receiving the care he needs. Any feathered rescues go straight to them as we know how amazing they areπŸ™

He's been admitted and is in very safe hands, we hope he will recover soon and then a place can be found with an experienced person to secure his future πŸ₯°

04/06/2026

We will never understand how someone can just turn and walk away......if a passerby hadn't seen them they would never have survived πŸ’”

What did they do to deserve this? Where is the commitment? The accountability? Something needs to change!

They are safe at our vets now but please reach out if you can help, we are beyond full and our vet account is climbing (again) 😒

Happy Day, Happy Storm Adoption Day for Juliet ❀️

Some things are meant to be and Juliet has finally, after 5 years at QAWS, now age 7, found her forever home and loving forever family. πŸ₯°

Juliet went into emergency foster and just managed to fit right in, another dog, small children, she was so well behaved, so gentle and quiet she simply was where she needed to be 🏑

As we followed up on all our fosters and got to Juliet's name on the list we received the message to say she is home, best news ever πŸŽ‰

Thank you for helping in our hour of need, for choosing adoption and for giving Juliet a much needed happy ever after πŸ™

Being tagged in dozens of posts everyday is really hard, we simply don't have the resources to help them all πŸ’”

When we can we step in....meet lucky little (name to be decided). Her post kept coming up, with so many comments, likes, shares, sad faces, suggestions, tags we hoped help would come πŸ˜”

Things changed when we saw her siblings didn't make it and she was obviously now an emergency so we asked for her to be bought in, thanks to Oryx Veterinary Center she is now in safe hands, getting the care and treatment she so desperately needed. Sadly it's too late to save one eye but we are hopeful for the other. The guilt of not being able to help sooner weighs heavyπŸ™

We have to focus on what we can do and this little one will get her chance at a future, for that we are grateful. One rescue at a time ❀️

Please help, if you can, direct to Oryx (they have Fawran -
