We are having a break due to a family occasion.
We will be back 29th June.
Our amazing volunteers will continue to care for thier colonies and here at cat quaters we have a wonderful friend caring for them all.
We will respond to emails and pms on our return.

3 female cats spayed on Thursday .
From S D Marcos. Thankyou Dra Ana Arc de Noe vets and Dpdsaa animal charity for sponsoring the sterisations. PDA Community cats paid for all associated costs.

General Udate
Missy the little absndoned female has a temporary foster. Lets find Missy a forever home.
She is very sweet ,loves a cuddle ,very easy and quiet. Missy uses her litter box and is clean. She is negative for felv & Felv and apart from being very skinny is healthy. She is microchiped and spayed last week so recovering well.
Missy is about a year old. A loving country home with a safe environment is required. Please pm if yiu can fall in love with her ❤️

Sweetie the gorgeous black that had a horrific ìnfection is doing really well in temporary foster foster with Candice and Jack.
He is looking so well and fully recovered from his infection.
This cat is also very loving . Loves human company woukd suit beong the only cat as he is a bit if a loner. He just needs a sofa and cuddles and love.
He is negative for felv &Fhiv. Uses his itter box
Very shy but will love you forever once he trusts you. We would consider sponsoring Sweetie if a retired person would like a lap cat !

Both cats for adoption . Apllication form and home check. We do not rush adoptions these are loving cats that have been through trauma and we need the right match. Please pm 🙏

Tootsie and Thomas continue to enjoy thier freedom . Tootsie continiues with a reduced steriod injection to ensure her automimune disease is managed but she seems free of the disese for now.

Thankyou for all your support. Funds are back to zero after more unexpected vet bills including poor Molly who had to be enthusinised on thursday.
We recieve no givernment funding. We rely on our amazing volunteers who not only care for thier colonies and families but also fundraise for us !
And our wonderful.supporters who donate !!!

On Monday we collected a little cat that we believe has been abandoned.
The locals have fed her and asked for our help. Missy as she is now known has been spayed , microchipoed and tested negative for Felv &Fhiv.

She also recieved flea and parasite treatment.

Missy is very thin so we need to feed her up before we can find a loving home . We do need a foster if you can help please pm. She is very sweet and quiet uses her litter tray and just wants cuddles. Thankyou Dra Rita at Dreamvet .Thankyou Dpdsaa animal charity for covering the sterisation. PDA Community cats paid for all assoviated costs. 🙏❤️

Sadly another female due to be spayed on Monday was too sick and after an xray showed her lungs full of fluid and she tested postive for Felv we had to let her go.
Her name was Molly. She was very sweet living on the street in Alte and being fed by Teresa who feeds her little colony there. So sad we couldnt save her .i stayed with her until she passed. It never gets any easier for me and i really wonder how vets cope even though its necessary to give them relief from pain and misery . Its horrible when a life is lost . Thankyou Faye for your compassion again today. 🙏❤️💔

16 supporters joined us for a fabulous day paint ,sip and dip Quinta Da Tor, Loule .
Huge thankyou to the amazing artist Teacher Tracy-Jane Pooler who gave her expertise and time to raise funds for us today . Also friend Nick for helping. Katarina and team for looking after us 🙏❤️

We also enjoyed tapas ,olives and a glass of vino follwed by a dip in thier wonderful infinity pool .

And all in aid of the cats €515 was raised !!

anything we can sell thats in new or excellent condition so we can raise the funds to keep our little PDA Community cats association going !
we are also very grateful for the businesses that would like to donate a service or items to us !
We have sterilised over 500 cats in 3 years ! helped many more with vetinary support .We have also rescued and rehomed 16 street /stray dogs too!
we want to continue to be part of the solution and reduce the suffering by TNR for external cats and caring for our colonies with over 300 cats and also our 11 semi feral cats at our private retreat
