🏴 Hello! As we promised in the last post, here’s the big weekend we have to announce! 🏴

The Flying Fox Vegan we all know is officially going to close its doors, with the goal of reopening them back in another establishment in the future.

Consequently, we're announcing the closing of this place with a big farewell party which is going to take place in this whole weekend, starting today!
We invite you all to come and enjoy for the last time in this place with a lot of noise and with a beer in your hand during these three days! 🍻

& check the biggest farewell party around! 👀

Our DJ for the night will be Dr.Gilgood, ready to serve you the best selection of punk, glam, rock n’roll and 80’s music.

Unfortunately we will not be able to have our kitchen working for now, however we will have our vegan bifanas.

🌱 Next sunday 18th September we welcome Movimento pelas Dunas Livres] , a project focused in protecting the ecosystems of Tróia and Melides in Portugal. This ecosystems - house of many rare species of fauna and flora - are now at risk in the name of building resorts, a golf course and privatizing this important protected area. Rebeca, one of the biologists involved in this activist group, will be with us presenting their mission and the importance of the preservation of this portuguese coast area.

🌱 O movimento pelas dunas livres surgiu em 2020 com a intenção de proteger o ecosistema costeiro entre Tróia e Melides. São mais de 40km de litoral com espécies e características ecológicas únicas - neste momento em risco de serem convertidos em grandes empreendimentos turísticos e campos de golf. Grandes áreas do território a ser transformadas para servir apenas a poucas pessoas, de uma elite minoritária mas que controla a maior parte do poder político através do poder do dinheiro. É a gentrificação em directo do litoral alentejano que estamos a tentar combater. Se quiseres saber mais sobre o movimento e como ajudar, junta te a nós na Flying Fox Vegan, dia 18 às 16h - a nossa primeira apresentação oficial no Porto.
