CHECK THIS OUT - DRY FED DOGS SEE THE VET MORE...AND NEW STUDY ON WAY, IF YOU HELP US

First, the CEO of Brisbane Guide Dogs said she saved 82% in vet bills when jumping more than 200 dogs from dry to raw (significantly less chronic skin, ear and gut conditions she said).

We then had a multitude of surveys showing clients jumping from dry to raw were experiencing the same thing - significantly improved skin and gut conditions.

Then the studies started rolling in. We know kibble-fed dogs are significantly more inflamed, suffer more atopy, gut disease and now dental disease (apparently the evidence for chronic ear infections is on the way too!).

Now, thanks to BigVeg Pet Food (of all people...), we have a survey (I know, weak, but they're the ones using it to flog vegan pet food so I might as well extract some good out of it...) of kibble, raw and veggie dog owners that reveals that dry-fed dogs are twice as likely to see a vet in the last year than raw-fed dogs!

That one flew under the radar!!!!!!

And check out those first few columns - raw-fed dogs are more than twice as likely to not have seen the vet at all compared to the kibble feeders (and they pulverised the veggie pet owners there too).

We can say with some confidence now that if you want recurring skin, ear and gut conditions, if you want to see the vet more, if you want your dog to cost more and likely live less, there's a very clear winner.

At last, kibble won something.

I want to let you in on a secret - we're working on a study here that will put this to bed once and for all. We are about to crowd-fund (so we need your help) for a retrospective analysis, that is, we are going to compare the health status of a large population of dogs in a veterinary hospital to see who has more health conditions - dry or raw fed dogs? I don't want to say any more until we release the study next week, but it's coming. And we hope it will put a solid line under this debate once and for all.
