🌟 MASDAW——11年的希望、奋斗与慈悲 🌟
今天我们庆祝我们的11周年纪念！
十一年前，我们怀抱着梦想与希望，期盼能让澳门成为一个对动物友善的城市。这些年来，我们救助并照顾了数百只狗、猫、豚鼠和鸟儿。然而，回顾过去，我们却无法说澳门真的变得更友善了。
🐾 狗狗曾经可以去海滩，如今却不再被允许。
🐾 大多数动物协会只能把动物安置在工业大楼里。
🐾 没有被领养的猫咪，因为绝育放归（TNR）计划已不复存在，将面临被杀的命运。
🐾 自2023年以来，被杀的狗狗数量急剧上升——但官方统计却不再公布这些数据，甚至连总数都没有。如果我们想知道每年有多少狗和猫被杀，就必须自己去计算。
这并不是我们所憧憬的充满慈悲的城市。相反，这像是一座无菌的城市，把有感知的生命当作可以被忽视的存在。
💔 MASDAW本身也正面临破产危机，我们不知道还能坚持多久。但我们不会放弃！我们会继续奋斗，并相信新一代能够延续我们的梦想：让澳门有一天能与世界上最先进的城市并肩，在动物福利与权利方面成为榜样。
澳门是一座富裕的城市——然而在宠物的生活条件上，却显得如此贫乏。

🌟 MASDAW – 11 Years of Hope, Struggle, and Compassion 🌟
Today we celebrate our 11th anniversary!
Eleven years ago, we dreamed of helping Macau become an animal‑friendly city. Since then, we’ve rescued and cared for hundreds of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and birds. Yet, looking around, we cannot say Macau has become more welcoming to animals.
🐾 Dogs are still banned from beaches.
🐾 Most associations are forced to keep animals in industrial buildings.
🐾 Cats without adoption face death, as the TNR program no longer exists.
🐾 The number of dogs killed has skyrocketed since 2023 — but official statistics no longer even show the totals.
This is not the compassionate city we envisioned. Instead, it feels like we are asked to live in an aseptic city, where sentient beings are treated as disposable.
💔 MASDAW itself is facing bankruptcy. We don’t know how long we can continue. But we will not give up. We will keep fighting, and we trust the new generations to carry forward our dream: that Macau can one day stand alongside the most developed cities in the world in terms of animal welfare and rights.
Macau is a wealthy city — yet when it comes to conditions for pets, it feels truly poor.
