Hi, my name is Madra 🐶

I am full border collie but thanks to my near blindness I am unable to work for my farmer and so...it’s time to put my Paws up and an early retirement for me. My dad still loves me so I’m not available for adoption but I will live at a sanctuary with friends, of the human and doggy kind. So far it seems like a pretty awesome place though I did have an accident here where I almost died and had to be rushed to the hospital. Not so much fun since it’s 1.5 hours drive. I spent four nights there and this cuteness earned me so many kisses and cuddles from the staff 😎

Terra has arrived at Amy’s Happy Paws for fostering. She was found as a stray and had been caught in a trap with bad damage to her leg. It was later discovered that she also had nine puppies. She is awaiting their arrival. Hopefully then she will settle a little. Terra has been taken care of by Annika and Adrian for the last few weeks. After a number of vet visits, regular medication distribution and bottle feeding her pups every few hours they are all ready for the next step of their rehabilitation process. More updates to follow.

Last day for ’ Pooch sleepover package at Amy’s Happy Paws...his big and little humans have missed him while they were on holiday but he doesn’t look like he is in a hurry to go home 😂 maybe once he has eaten his steak treat he will feel a little differently.

Golden oldie, Jock, modeling his new inflatable alternative to a cone. It’s lighter, he can see more and he can also get closer to Coco when he wants to tell her she is being annoying 🐶 Kong collar is Jock recommended!

Experienced with all temperaments of dogs. I have volunteered and was then hired by a dog shelter because of my handling skills and passion for each dog's individual needs.

I enjoy working to fulfil their physical and emotional needs and have won the hearts of many nervous dogs. I find working with dogs a very rewarding line of work and enjoy getting to know their personalities so I can help make them happy and see their tails wag.

Each dog is different just like us, and I truly believe in every interaction being positive as the most effective form of interaction.

Your canine friend will be in the most attentive and fun loving care with me!
