Olá Humanos! Eu sou a Prosa e venho tornar o vosso sábado ainda mais especial! Se perguntarem no abrigo que adjetivo encontram para mim quase todos vão dizer que sou SOCIÁVEL além de linda claro! A minha história começou a ser criada a biberão com os meus irmãos desde as minhas três semanas. Crescemos e todos os meus irmãos já encontraram o seu cantinho no mundo com uma família e eu tenho ficado para trás. Sou muito sociável com pessoas e adoro companhia. Agora vem a parte que vos vai surpreender: adoro brincar com cães porque cresci com eles. Com outros gatos também o sou embora tenha de confessar que ao princípio tenha um pouco de receio deles. Sou muito brincalhona mas isso vocês já viram pelas fotos! Procuro o meu cantinho no mundo com uma família que precise de uma gatinha como eu. Conhecem alguma? Serão vocês? Hello humans! I’m Prosa, and I’m here to make your Saturday even more special! If you ask the shelter staff to describe me, almost everyone will say I’m sociable—and beautiful, of course! My story began with bottle-feeding alongside my siblings when I was just three weeks old. We grew up, and while all my siblings have found their own special place in the world with a family, I’ve been left behind. I’m very sociable with people and love having company. Now, here’s the part that might surprise you: I love playing with dogs because I grew up with them. I get along with other cats too, though I have to admit I’m a little wary of them at first. I’m very playful—but you can already see that in my photos! I’m looking for my own special place with a family that needs a kitty like me. Do you know anyone like that? Could it be you? Olá Humanos! Eu sou a Bica! Eu sei que ficam logo surpreendidos com o brilho dos meus olhos. Eles continuam brilhantes apesar de não me mostrarem mais o mundo. Há já algum tempo que deixei de ver o mundo pelos meus olhos e o comecei a sentir pelos meus outros sentidos. Os toques são diferentes porque sei que estou num local diferente mas o amor nunca se esquece. A minha história começou noutro local. Durante algum tempo fui saudável mas a doença roubou-me muita coisa. Perdi a visão e ganhei a necessidade de cuidados diários devido a ser diabética. Os cuidados eram tantos que quem cuidava de mim deixou de o poder fazer. Quando me conheceram vão ver como sou tranquila, muito carinhosa e extremamente sociável porque adoro companhia. Dou-me bem com outros cães e a vida aqui no abrigo tem sido muito boa para mim mas preciso de uma família só para mim. Somos muitos cães aqui e os cuidados que necessito todos os dias são tantos que o ideal seria uma família que se encarregasse apenas de mim para não me faltar nada. Além das injeções toda a minha comida deve ser supervisionada e tenho de andar sempre debaixo de olho porque sou muito energética e aventureira. Caso não me possam adotar ponderem ser família de acolhimento para que possam cuidar de mim até chegar a família definitiva. Fiz agora novas fotos que não poderei ver mas que sei que ficaram lindas porque dei o meu melhor. Como podem ver sou perfeita! Apenas preciso de uma oportunidade. Ajudam-me?

Hello humans! I’m Bica! I know the sparkle in my eyes takes people by surprise. They still shine, even though they no longer show me the world. It’s been a while since I stopped seeing the world with my eyes and started experiencing it through my other senses. The touches feel different because I know I’m in a new place, but love is something you never forget. My story began elsewhere. I was healthy for a time, but illness took a lot from me. I lost my sight and developed a need for daily care because I’m diabetic. The care I required became so demanding that my previous caretaker could no longer manage it. When you meet me, you’ll see how calm, affectionate, and extremely sociable I am—I just love company. I get along well with other dogs, and life at the shelter has been great, but I need a family of my own. There are so many dogs here, and my daily care needs are significant; ideally, I’d have a family dedicated solely to me so I never go without anything. Beyond my injections, my meals need to be supervised, and I need to be kept a close eye on because I’m very energetic and adventurous. If you can’t adopt me, please consider becoming a foster family so you can care for me until my forever family comes along. I just had some new photos taken—I can’t see them, of course, but I know they turned out beautifully because I gave it my all. As you can see, I’m perfect! I just need a chance. Will you help me?

Venham ter connosco à Praça de Vale do Lobo,mais precisamente ao restaurante Sandbanks Vale Do Lobo onde vamos ter mais um grande evento! Vamos estar presentes com mais uma campanha de adoção, muito merchandising colorido e variado para tornar a vossa vida mais colorida enquanto nos ajudam na nossa missão e ainda podem conhecer alguns dos nossos residentes que procuram uma família. Quem sabe não encontram o vosso futuro membro da família enquanto nos ajudam na nossa missão e conhecem um pouco melhor o nosso abrigo? Não aceitamos desculpas! Vemo-nos domingo?

Olá Humanos! Passei aqui de novo para verem como continuo lindo. Fiz novas fotos e trago uma nova publicação... o resto infelizmente continua igual. Infelizmente talvez seja uma palavra muito forte porque tenho tudo o que necessito aqui no abrigo onde cheguei em Novembro. Aqui não me falta companhia, a melhor comida e todo o descanso que um gato pode merecer. Para os que estão aqui a ver-me pela primeira vez permitam que me apresente. O meu nome é Vizir e a minha história começou quando fui encontrado sozinho num terreno. Como se isso não bastasse estava com dificuldades respiratórias e infeções fúngicas na cara. Sou bastante afetuoso depois de ganhar confiança, gosto muito de companhia humana e sou muito sociável com outros gatos. Não sei porque me deram este nome mas posso dizer que tem o seu ponto de verdade. Do meu passado apenas ficou uma condição de saúde com a qual vivo: sou positivo para FIV (Vírus da Imunodeficiência Felina), também conhecida como SIDA dos gatos. Gatos como eu, nestas condições, podem ter vidas normais com os devidos cuidados mas isso é também obrigatório para quem queria ter animais não é? Cuidar deles! Venham visitar o abrigo e venham conhecer-me. Quem sabe não sejam a familia que tanto procuro? Beijinhos do vosso amigo Vizir!

Hello, humans! I’m stopping by again so you can see how handsome I still am. I’ve had some new photos taken and have a new post for you... though, unfortunately, the rest remains the same. "Unfortunately" might be too strong a word, though, because I have everything I need here at the shelter where I arrived in November. I have plenty of company, the best food, and all the rest a cat could deserve. For those seeing me for the first time, let me introduce myself. My name is Vizir, and my story began when I was found all alone on a vacant lot. As if that weren't enough, I was struggling to breathe and had fungal infections on my face. I’m very affectionate once I trust someone; I love human company and get along great with other cats. I don’t know why I was given this name, but I have to admit there’s some truth to it. The only thing left from my past is a health condition I live with: I’m FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), also known as "cat AIDS." Cats like me, in this condition, can live normal lives with the right care—but isn't that a must for anyone who wants pets anyway? Taking care of them! Come visit the shelter and meet me. Who knows? You might just be the family I’ve been looking for. Kisses from your friend, Vizir!

CASTLE

O Castle continua a crescer e, como dissemos antes, acreditamos que será um cão de porte grande.
É filho de dois cães seniores, ambos com 14 anos, pelo que teve de ser retirado da mãe muito cedo e criado a biberão. Infelizmente, foi o único sobrevivente da ninhada, tornando a sua história ainda mais especial.
Neste momento, o Castle está em família de acolhimento, onde está a aprender tudo sobre ser cão e a descobrir o mundo ao seu ritmo. Adora natureza e tudo o que lhe permita explorar, cheirar e viver novas experiências.
É um cachorrinho extremamente carinhoso e meigo, que adora receber mimos. Apesar de não gostar muito de colo ou de se sentir apertado, procura constantemente o contacto e o carinho das pessoas.
Como qualquer bebé, está agora a desenvolver a sua personalidade. É um cão feliz, muito energético, sociável com outros cães, adora gatos e gosta imenso de pessoas. Ao mesmo tempo, já começa a mostrar que é um pouco medroso, principalmente com barulhos, algo que certamente poderá ser trabalhado e ultrapassado com a ajuda da sua futura família.
O Castle tem também um estômago bastante sensível. Qualquer alimento diferente do habitual pode deixá-lo indisposto, o que torna a tarefa mais difícil porque é um verdadeiro guloso! Está sempre atento a tudo o que cai no chão, seja um pedaço de fruta ou a comida de outros cães. Tem mistura de retriever, e o apetite é mesmo digno dessa raça!
Acima de tudo, o Castle é um bebé lindo, cheio de vida, com um enorme coração e muito amor para dar. Agora só lhe falta encontrar uma família que o acompanhe enquanto cresce e lhe dê a vida feliz que tanto merece.

CASTLE

Castle keeps growing, and as we mentioned before, we believe he will be a large-sized dog.
He is the offspring of two senior dogs—both 14 years old—so he had to be taken from his mother very early and bottle-fed. Sadly, he was the only survivor of the litter, making his story even more special.
Castle is currently in a foster home, where he is learning what it means to be a dog and discovering the world at his own pace. He loves nature and anything that allows him to explore, sniff around, and have new experiences.
He is an extremely affectionate and gentle puppy who loves getting cuddles. Although he doesn't care much for being held or feeling confined, he constantly seeks out human contact and affection.
Like any baby, he is currently developing his personality. He is a happy, high-energy dog ​​who is sociable with other dogs, loves cats, and adores people. At the same time, he is starting to show signs of being a bit timid—especially around loud noises—something that can certainly be worked on and overcome with the help of his future family.
Castle also has a rather sensitive stomach. Anything other than his usual food can upset it, which makes things tricky because he is a real chowhound! He is always on the lookout for anything that drops on the floor, whether it’s a piece of fruit or another dog's food. He is a Retriever mix, and his appetite is truly worthy of the breed!
Above all, Castle is a beautiful, lively puppy with a huge heart and plenty of love to give. Now, all he needs is to find a family to be by his side as he grows up and to give him the happy life he so richly deserves.
