Boutique licenced DOG HOTEL & DAYCARE facility in a quiet, country setting with secure, monitored play fields for your dogs to run, play and relax.

Whether you’re going on long vacation, a quick weekend get-away or simply would like your precious pup to enjoy a day at DOGGIE DAY CARE, you can have peace-of-mind knowing your dogs will be well cared for at Rivendell.

At Rivendell kennels, we only take in a handful of dogs at a time, which allows us to spend more time with each dog one-to-one. Each of our four-legged guests receives plenty of human TLC along with being able to interact with the other dogs in a safe atmosphere. This is an ideal situation for those dogs that do not like being in a big group.

Each kennel is spacious with a cozy indoor area with bed, and an outdoor area. Large enough for two dogs from the same household to share.

The secure doggy play fields are available for supervised fun in small compatible groups. There is plenty of shade and space to roam. All dogs spend much of the day outside.

We found him in the yard where he first was very confused.
He settled in well now.

But he still needs a name ☺️

Dogs helping dogs (& donkeys)

For every new booking at Rivendell Kennels (Barão São João, Lagos) for stays in May 2025, we will once again donate a percentage to Associação Bamboo, Shelter for dogs and donkeys.
