DPDSAA, STERILISE OUR STRAYS AND STREETLIFE WORKING TOGETHER – SOTAVENTO AREA
When associations join forces, they become a force to be reckoned with!

Both Sterilise Our Strays (SOSAA) and StreetLife receive funding from DPDSAA and from the 1st August we will be working together on sterilisations in the Sotavento area.

ANY APPLICATIONS FOR DOGS to be sterilised will be assessed by StreetLife. If an application is made to Sterilise Our Strays it will be diverted to the StreetLife Sterilisation Programme to be assessed and, if approved, appointments will be made with one of the StreetLife Partner Vets.

ANY REQUESTS FOR CATS to be sterilised in Faro, Olhão or São Bras areas will be directed to Sterilise Our Strays. Within Sotavento / East Algarve only the areas mentioned above are covered by the SOSAA / DPDSAA project.

Sterilise Our Strays will continue to help both cats & dogs in Silves, Albufeira and Lagoa

If you are in another area: check either the Sterilise Our Strays or StreetLife pages.

All applications, regardless of the Association, will be subject to approval. There will, on occasions, be situations where either association may have to respond differently based on the application request or if it is an emergency.
