The White Swiss Shepherd, also known as the Berger Blanc Suisse, was developed in Switzerland from white German Shepherd lines. Despite its strong and impressive appearance, this breed is often known for its sensitive, gentle and affectionate personality.

They are intelligent, easy to train and very connected to their families. Because of this, they do best in homes where they can participate in daily life, receive consistent training and enjoy plenty of physical and mental stimulation.

Their white double coat sheds throughout the year and requires regular brushing, especially during seasonal coat changes. Proper grooming helps remove loose hair, prevent tangles and keep the skin and coat healthy.

Beautiful, loyal and full of personality, the White Swiss Shepherd is much more than its striking white coat. 🤍🐾

Meet Murphy, our very first Irish Wolfhound! 💛

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Murphy to Groom & Coffee, and what a gentle giant he is!

The Irish Wolfhound is one of the tallest dog breeds in the world, originally bred in Ireland to hunt wolves and large game. Despite their impressive size, they’re famous for their calm, affectionate and incredibly gentle nature earning them the nickname “gentle giants.”

Murphy certainly lived up to the reputation. He was an absolute gentleman from start to finish, making his first visit with us a real pleasure.

Thank you for trusting us with such a special boy. We can’t wait to welcome you back, Murphy! 🐶

Senior dogs deserve a little extra time. 💛🐾

TJ came to see us today on a very warm day, carrying quite a few knots in his coat. With older dogs, comfort always comes first.

That means taking things slowly, allowing plenty of breaks and making sure every step of the groom is as gentle and stress-free as possible.

Every dog is different, and every senior deserves the patience and care that suits their needs.

Hoje o TJ veio visitar-nos num dia de muito calor e com alguns nós no pelo. Com cães mais velhos, o conforto está sempre em primeiro lugar.

Isso significa trabalhar com calma, fazer as pausas necessárias e garantir que cada etapa do grooming é feita de forma tranquila e sem stress.

Cada cão é único e cada sénior merece a paciência e o carinho adequados às suas necessidades.
