Ethical Maine C**n cattery in Portugal, raising healthy, affectionate kittens with care and love.

Lusiravn Maine C**ns is a small, home-based cattery in central Portugal. Inspired by the myths and majesty of the breed, we raise our kittens with love, patience, and respect. All kittens are FIFe registered, health-tested, and raised in our family environment to become confident, gentle companions.

I’m delighted to share that I have successfully completed the PawPeds G1 course.

PawPeds is an internationally recognised educational programme that covers topics including feline health, genetics, behaviour, reproduction, and responsible breeding practices.

As a breeder, I believe continuing education is an important part of making informed decisions and maintaining the highest possible standards of care for my cats.

Freya has been unwell over the past few days and is currently receiving veterinary care 🤍🐾

Unfortunately, this means there will be no pregnancy from her recent mating. Right now, our focus is entirely on her health and recovery.

We will share updates in time, but for now she is being closely looked after.

It feels like yesterday they were tiny kittens running around the house, and now they are big, fluffy Maine C**ns. They are still very close and often found grooming each other like this.
