A lot of people still don’t understand the rules around importing Boerboels into the United States.

But that doesn’t mean access to quality Boerboels is blocked.

Dogs can still be imported legally from approved countries such as parts of Europe, including Portugal, where we operate.

Most people misunderstand what “𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻” actually means in dog training.

Correction is not about emotion. It is not punishment. And it should never come before understanding.

A dog must first clearly understand a command before any form of pressure or correction becomes fair.

At that point, the communication is simple:
the dog knows the expectation, and chooses whether to follow it or ignore it.

If the dog understands the command and ignores it, then correction is not punishment it is information. A reminder of structure, clarity, and consequence.

Without understanding, correction is just confusion. And confused dogs do not learn, they shut down or push back.

This is why timing and clarity matter more than force.
