Nana domestic long hair 2 years female cat was presented to our clinic suffering from re**al prolapse, emaciation and anemia, by palpation there was small mass in the abdomen, after ultrasound there was amass on the ilium and cecum (iliocecocolic junction).
After one week the cat was presented to surgical operation, after celiotomy and exploration of the abdominal cavity three where diffuse mass extended from rot of mesentery to iliocecocolic junction.
The mass on the junction was circling the ilium and clear stricture was noticed in the lumen of ilium due to the pressure of the mass , due to massive invasion of the mass the mass on the ilium was and the lumen of the ilium return to normal , the other mass were kept until Nana gain here health as here health didn’t tolerate complete debulking of diffuse mass >
After three-week Nana became good gain weight and returned to normal life >
Before 3 days the owner told me that Nana had soft diarrhea with blood and anorexic,
Today we did physical examination and palpate big mass in the abdomen, and by ultrasound revealed narrowing in the lumen of intestine in iliocecocolic junction.
We decide to perform celiotomy and resect the cecum and part of ilium and colon, and side to side ileocolic anastomosis
the anastomosis technique performed using interrupted horizontal matress as first raw and interlock as second raw . prolene suture were used to minimize inflammatory reaction in colon .
