Barks of Hope is a 501c3 located in Rincón, Puerto Rico dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for abandoned doggies.

We are in partnership with two rescue organizations in New Jersey and one in New York, that help us find those forever homes for our rescues in the US. Alma is a beautiful 3 year old Rottweiler with an incredibly loving heart.

Like so many dogs in Puerto Rico, Alma was abandoned and left to fend for herself. But her past hasn’t changed her sweet and affectionate nature. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the right family to give it to.

🚨 URGENT CALL TO OUR COMMUNITY 🚨

Every day, Barks of Hope takes on more rescue cases, many involving animals who require extensive veterinary care, treatments, medications, surgeries, and ongoing medical attention.

We continue to say YES because their lives matter. But the reality is simple: we cannot continue saving animals without the support of our community.

Right now, our outstanding veterinary balance is $6,958.73, and we urgently need your help to pay it down so we can continue providing medical care to the animals who depend on us.

Every donation makes a difference. $5, $10, $20 every contribution brings us closer to our goal and allows us to keep saying YES to the next animal who needs us.

🐾 GRETA NEEDS OUR HELP 🐾

We recently rescued this sweet girl and named her Greta.

Greta has already been seen by a veterinarian, but she has several medical conditions that require treatment and continued veterinary care. She was diagnosed with demodectic mange, a fungal skin infection, an eye infection, and an ear infection.

Despite everything she is going through, Greta is now safe and finally getting the care she deserves. ❤️
