Wyjazd na nasz ulubiony tor zaliczamy do tych słodko-gorzkich. Dziś na starcie stanęły Licho, Maze i Zmora, więc czas na krótkie podsumowanie.
Licho (Likho Lucem Ferre) nasza kruszyna, pobiegła swój pierwszy w życiu dystans 270 m (7 miesięcy po zabiegu TPLO). Najważniejsze jest jednak to, że po biegu nie pojawiły się żadne dolegliwości, co daje nam zielone światło do realizacji kolejnych etapów treningu.
Maze (Chasing Lane’s Pick Pocket) jak zwykle zaprezentowała równą, stabilną formę. Zajęła 2 miejsce w kategorii Sprinter Senior MIX, będąc jednocześnie najszybszą suką w swojej klasie.
Zmora (Yessy Supersonic) okazała się największym pechowcem dzisiejszego dnia. Już podczas biegu mieliśmy przeczucie, że coś jest nie tak. Obawy potwierdził bardzo słaby wynik, niemal o 0,5 sekundy gorszy od jej regularnych czasów na tym torze. Po około godzinie pojawiła się lekka kulawizna, a kolejną godzinę później Zmora nie była już w stanie stanąć na przedniej nodze. Bez chwili wahania wycofaliśmy ją z dalszej rywalizacji. Teraz przed nami diagnostyka, leczenie i rekonwalescencja.

Our trip to our favourite track was a bittersweet one. Today, Licho, Maze, and Zmora were racing, so here is a short summary of the day.
Licho (Likho Lucem Ferre), our little girl, ran her first-ever 270 m race, just seven months after her TPLO surgery. Most importantly, she showed no signs of pain or discomfort after the run, which gives us the green light to continue with the next steps of her training.
Maze (Chasing Lane’s Pick Pocket) once again showed her consistent form. She finished 2nd in the Senior Sprinter MIX category and was also the fastest female in her class.
Zmora (Yessy Supersonic) was unfortunately the unluckiest dog of the day. While watching her race, we felt that something was wrong. Our concerns were confirmed by her result, which was almost 0.5 seconds slower than her usual times on this track. About an hour later, she started to limp slightly, and another hour later she could no longer put weight on her front leg. We immediately withdrew her from the competition. Now it’s time for examinations, treatment, and recovery.
