Lovely 2 year old Belle is off to her new home. She will be staying in Poland to be a breeding mare with a new breeder.

Currently being transported by Transport koni Peraj
Belle received 1st premium as a foal. She was the first foal from Blondie TT and Ballagh Cloud

A 1 year old c**ts is still available from this combination of parents. He was 1st premium is 2024 and champion of c**t foals.

Blondie is again pregnant with Ballagh Cloud and that foal will also be available.

Pippa is our first mare due to foal this year. Today it is 320 days since she was last covered by stallion Ballagh Cloud.
Did you know, a foal born before 320 days gestation is considered premature ?
The average gestation is around 340 days, which is why most breeders use 11 months from the last covering date to predict the foaling date. Normal gestation length for mares is 320 days to 360 days. For Pippa, that would mean a normal birth can be from today, until 6th April. And even then, it's not uncommon for mares to be pregnant for over a year.
Luckily we have cameras in our breeding barn. So we can easily monitor them during the night. We check all pregnant mares at the start and end of the day, so that we can compare certain parameters. This includes the shape of the belly, udder size and shape, and muscle tone around the hips and tail. Mares pregnant for the first time tend not to show any signs of foaling until closer to the foaling date. Experienced mares can show signs of foaling much early. All mares like to surprise us

Nougat arrives safely in her new home. She has stayed in Poland, and is expecting her her foal with Salvador to be born in May. We wish the new owners all the best, and look forward to seeing her new foal

Due to stopping breeding with the aim to sell/close Jaskolka, the breeding mares and their 2025 foals are available. Foals will be able to be reserved before and after foaling. Mares can be bought with the foals, and we can also arrange to make them pregnant again (if they are here for the foaling)
All mares are pssm1 nn. Both stallions are FIS nn. All mares (excluding SD Giza are trained for riding, though may have had a long break due to foalings)
1) Nougat - due start of May with Salvador
2) SD Giza - due start April with Salvador
3) Ronja - due end of March with Salvador (only the foal is available, Ronja is already reserved)
4) Rosie - due mid March with Ballagh Cloud

After Grandmother's day, comes Grandfathers day.

First is an appreciation for our oldies.

Nigel, who is now 33 years old. He has had 11 registered foals. One including PREFERENT breeding mare Black Beauty who also has many foals. Two of her foals are pictured

Next is 26 year old Picco. He has been a huge assest to breeding in Poland. He has 69 registered foals. His last foal is Rocky who is now 9 years old. Picco was also awarded PREFERENT when he was a stallion. He may be the only stallion in the NSVT studbook to receive this award. He has also produced several licensed stallions himself, which include Bonfire, Galypso and Picasso. Grandchildren of his have also received breeding licence, include Muscat and Rainbow. We still have some breeding mares from him and also several of our riding horses are grandchildren of him. We were really lucky to be able to use him for a long time as a breeding stallion. Then safely castrate him so he can live a easy retired life

A bit on the younger side now. Ballagh Cloud and Sergeant Major became Grandfathers at the same time thanks to the beautiful Kiara.

Royal Blue who we sold start of this week, is going by Rispa Blue. Rispa Blue is a foal from Rachel, who we sold to Hodowla JEMEN while pregnant with Ballagh Cloud. Rachel is daughter of our breeding mare Rosheen who also recently went to her new home. Nice that two foals with the same father from different mares from our stable will now grow up together
