Q&A:
Q: What motivated you to write this book?
A: Simple really. — When people go through something, what they consider hard for them, they need a place, people – that they can share their experiences to. That's what I did, I shared my life, using metaphors, and made my story as story that "V" is living.
Q: What fragments were the hardest to write? Why?
A: So, I can think of some. Nevertheless I will choose one: Moment when V's mind collapses and he is on the edge.
Why I chose this part? It's mirror image of myself, I felt that, I was what V is in my book – I felt it, that's why it was the hardest to write about – memories flooding, feelings flooding...
Q: So, after you finished the book, is there maybe a change in you? Do you feel different?
A: Not exactly, as everyone of you who read this book – and actually for now 122 people have this book borrowed or bought – you should know that V's story is not yet finished, but there is something what is changing inside him – same as me. I feel more... balanced now.
Maybe that's what I can say. Balance, and peace in my head — that's for sure. Less bad emotions too.
Q: Does the book take place in any specific year/years?
A: I left a space where each individual can interpret it as they wish, but the entire book, according to the plot, lasts 7 months, even though it is not explicitly stated. The action itself begins in 2025 and "ends" in 2026.
Q: Does this story challenge belief?
A: No, of course not — there is a part, where we can see that belief can even help. We have many belief-aspects there.
Q: Is this book against faith?
A: Again — no. As some people know, there are even mentions of Jesus and Christianity, and even the title refers to faith — Christian one.
Q: Why doesn’t the story give clear answers?
A: It's same as life — it doesn't give clear answers, it gives you more question marks.
My story is not to be self-explanatory, it is to change the reader's perception of the world, see the fall, the rise, but also the fragile human mind.
Q: Is the ending supposed to be satisfying?
A: No, it's not "to be satisfying" — it shows you how life really is, not some beautiful story with happy ending, not some horror story where most people die. He just... lost himself. That's what most people do if they have nothing to go to when in need for help.
Q: Last question — Is the main character actually alone... or not?
A: It's complicated, but we can see some kind of help from "outside world", for example Lea and Julia, but really — what is stability, when you loose your ground?
