Meet Prof. Dr. Tahir Usman, proud DVM (2008) and MSc (2010) alumnus of UAP, currently serving as Professor and Chairman of Livestock Production at AWKUM.

Recognized among Pakistan’s youngest Professors in Veterinary Sciences, Dr. Tahir has built an extraordinary global academic and research career in the fields of Animal Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biotechnology, and Biosafety.

After completing his PhD from China Agricultural University on a fully funded scholarship, he earned the prestigious DAAD Postdoctoral Fellowship in Germany, where he worked on advanced genomic and next-generation sequencing research.

His remarkable journey includes:

قربانی کے لیے بکروں اور چھتروں میں دانتوں کے ذریعے عمر معلوم کرنے کا طریقہ

بکروں اور چھتروں کی عمر معلوم کرنے کا سب سے آسان اور عام طریقہ ان کے سامنے والے نچلے دانت دیکھنا ہے۔ عموماً جانور کے اوپر والے اگلے دانت نہیں ہوتے جبکہ نیچے آٹھ اگلے دانت ہوتے ہیں۔ انہی دانتوں کی تبدیلی سے عمر کا اندازہ لگایا جاتا ہے۔

دانتوں کے حساب سے عمر

🐐 دودھ پیتا / کم عمر جانور

تمام اگلے دانت چھوٹے اور باریک ہوتے ہیں۔

ایسے جانور عموماً ایک سال سے کم عمر ہوتے ہیں۔

قربانی کے لیے موزوں نہیں سمجھے جاتے۔

🐐 دو دانت (تقریباً 1 سے 1.5 سال)

درمیان کے دو دودھ والے دانت گر کر بڑے مستقل دانت آ جاتے ہیں۔

شریعت کے مطابق بکرا یا چھترا عموماً ایک سال مکمل ہونے پر قربانی کے قابل ہوتا ہے۔

🐐 چار دانت (تقریباً 2 سال)

سامنے کے چار مستقل دانت واضح نظر آتے ہیں۔

🐐 چھ دانت (تقریباً 3 سال)

چھ مستقل دانت نکل آتے ہیں۔

🐐 آٹھ دانت / پورا منہ (تقریباً 4 سال یا زائد)

تمام آٹھ مستقل دانت مکمل ہو جاتے ہیں۔

جانور مکمل بالغ تصور کیا جاتا ہے۔

جانور چیک کرتے وقت احتیاط

دانت قدرتی اور مضبوط ہوں۔

بعض اوقات بیوپاری دانت گھِس کر یا مصنوعی طریقے سے عمر زیادہ ظاہر کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں، اس لیے تجربہ کار فرد یا ویٹرنری ڈاکٹر سے معائنہ کروانا بہتر ہے۔

صرف دانت ہی نہیں بلکہ جسمانی ساخت، قد، وزن اور صحت کو بھی مدنظر رکھیں۔
