ne and small animal (canine) surgery, orthopedic procedures, regenerative medicine, pain management, and evidence-based anesthesia. I have led clinical teams, trained hundreds of young veterinarians, and managed complex surgical cases across large and small animal practice. As In-Charge of the Equine Diagnostic Laboratory at the Lahore Race Club, I oversee performance evaluation, diagnostic imaging, lameness assessment, and clinical support for high-value racehorses. My work integrates hands-on surgical expertise with research-based decision making to improve outcomes in equine and small animal patients. I have supervised numerous PhD and M.Phil scholars, contributing significantly to research in PRP therapy, wound healing, orthopedic corrections, abdominal surgeries, regenerative medicine, and advanced hemostasis. My academic contributions include 35+ peer-reviewed publications with a cumulative impact factor of 30, covering anesthesia, surgical innovation, regenerative biology, and clinical advancements. I have organized and delivered multiple national and international workshops, including hands-on trainings in orthopedic surgery, radiographic anatomy, dentistry, reproductive ultrasonography, and surgical techniques through PAKSAVA and UVAS. During my PhD, I actively participated in veterinary societies, workshops, and research forums. My activities included clinical teaching, surgical assistance, postgraduate training, laboratory work, ultrasonography sessions, and organizing veterinary welfare events. I remained an active member of the Society of Animal Reproduction, Society of Surgery, Society of Veterinary Physiology, PkSAVA (Executive Committee), the Kennel Club of Pakistan (Executive Committee), and the UVAS Sports Committee. Alongside academia, I have been a private practitioner for over 20 years, operating a full-service small animal clinic at Defence Animal Hospital. For the last 8 years, I have also founded and managed the Defence Animal Rescue Center, dedicated to rescuing, treating, and rehabilitating injured and abandoned animals, promoting welfare and responsible ownership. My mission is to advance veterinary surgical science, strengthen clinical training, and contribute to animal welfare through high-quality research, teaching, and compassionate practice.
