All you need to know about "POLISH"

Origin: Poland
Classification: Light, Soft feather
Egg colour: White
Egg ratio: upto 200/year

Characteristics As Per British Standard:

Back fairly long and flat to the tail. Breast full and round. Flanks deep,
shoulders wide, wings large and closely carried. Tail full, neatly spread, and carried
rather low, not upright, the sickles well curved.
Head with a crest,large, full, circular on top and free of any split or parting.
Beak of medium length. Eyes large and full. Comb of horn type and very small. Ear-lobes very small and round. Wattles rather large and long in the white-crested varieties; the others are without wattles.
Legs slender and fairly long, the shanks free of feathers. Toes, four.
Eyes, comb and face red. Ear-lobes blue-white. Beak, legs and feet dark blue and/or horn, soles of feet blue.

Note: Polish breed is available in both bearded or non-bearded colours. But self colours are prefers as bearded and white-crested colours are prefers as non-bearded.
Polish breed is available in both bantam and large size.

Serious defects:
Split or twisted crest. Comb, if any, other than horn type. Absence of muffling in birds
other than the white-crested varieties.
Legs other than blue or slate. Other than four toes on each foot. Any deformity. Absence of black, blue or cuckoo in the front of the
crests of the white-crested varieties. In the cuckoo solid black or white feather.

All you need to know about "COCHIN BANTAM"

Origin: China
Classification: True Bantam
Egg colour: White or cream
Egg ratio: upto 140/year

Characteristics As Per British Standard:

Body short and broad, the head very little higher than the tail. Furnished with soft
feathers. Tail very short and full, soft and without hard quill feathers. Tail should be carried higher than the head.
Beak rather short, slightly curved. Eyes large and bright. Comb single, small, straight and erect.
Neck and legs short. Toes, four, the
middle and outer toes fully covered with soft feathers to their tips.
Beak yellow, but in dark colours may be shaded with black or horn. Eyes red, orange
or yellow – red preferred. Comb, face, wattles and ear-lobes bright red. Legs and feet
yellow. (Dark legs permissible in blacks if the soles of the feet and back of shanks are
yellow.)

Serious defects:
Twisted or drooping comb. Slipped wings. Legs other than yellow (except for blacks).
Eyes other than red, orange or yellow.
