Afghanistan Faces Growing Humanitarian Crisis
Over the past few days, more than 10,000 Afghan refugees have been forcibly deported from Pakistan and Iran. Thousands of families are returning with nothing—no shelter, no belongings, and limited aid. Winter is setting in, and the urgent need for food, housing, and jobs is critical.
Meanwhile, tensions along the Pak-Afghan border have escalated. Heavy clashes have destroyed the Friendship Gate, ceasefires have collapsed, and cross-border trade has been severely disrupted. Refugees are being used as political leverage, and the humanitarian impact is deepening.
India has stepped in with humanitarian aid and alternative trade routes, but the crisis underscores the urgent need for coordinated regional cooperation to protect vulnerable families.
