She could have spread her wings.... could have run away.... and saved yourself.
But she didn't. She didn't even try. It stayed right there... next to the most valuable thing it had.. 💔
In birds, this instinct is deeply rooted in their biology. The prolactin hormone, responsible for incubation behavior, shoots into the brain during the breeding season.
