Aaj kal, Times of Karachi Jamaat-e-Islami se paise khaa kar gali ke kutton ke khilaaf jhooti khabrein phaila raha hai.
In khabron ka hamesha ek hi format hota hai: gali ke kutton ke stock image ke saath kutton ke kaatne ke aise daaway jinka koi saboot nahi hota. Na zakhmi logon ki tasveerein hoti hain, na hamlon ki CCTV footage, aur na hi koi medical report.
Lekin hamare paas saboot hai. Iss story mein woh daawa kar rahe hain ke ek madrassah ke bahar maujood kutton ne talaba par hamla kiya hai. Jabke hamare paas ek video hai jis mein is hee madrassah ke talaba ek sote hue kutte par bila-waja hamla kar rahe hain.
Agar unke daaway sach bhi hon, toh shayad agar madrassah apne talaba ko gali ke kutton ke saath sulaah-rehmi se pesh aana sikhaye, to woh kutte in badtameez bachon par hamla na karein.
These days, Times of Karachi has been taking money from Jamaat-e-Islami to spread disinformation against street dogs.
These street dogs follow the same pattern: a stock image of street dogs alongside unsubstantiated claims of dog attacks presented with no evidence. No pictures of injured people, no cctv footage of the attacks, not even a medical report.
But we have proof. In this story, they are claiming that dogs outside a madrassah have been attacking students. We have a video of students from this madrassah needlessly attacking a sleeping dog, without provocation.
Even if their claims are true, perhaps if the madrassah taught it's students to show kindness towards street dogs, they would not be so inclined to attack these brats?
