🐦 Dun Fallow Female Doesn't Breed? — Myth or Reality?
A common claim circulating among lovebird breeders is that “Dun Fallow females do not breed.”
However, in our own breeding setups and observations at Birds Lovers Karachi Pakistan, we have not observed any consistent issue that would prove Dun Fallow females are inherently unable to breed.
Genetically, Dun Fallow is an autosomal recessive mutation, not a sex-linked infertility mutation.
If an individual Dun Fallow female has breeding problems, the cause may be care, diet/feeding plan, nutrition, age, pair compatibility, environment, or the individual bird's condition—just as breeding problems can occur in any normal bird or pair.
One bird's experience cannot be turned into a rule for an entire mutation.
👉 Based on our observations and the available genetic evidence, the statement “Dun Fallow females do not breed” is a myth/hype, not an established scientific fact.

🐦 Dun Fallow Female Breed Nahi Karti? — Myth Ya Haqiqat?
Lovebird community mein ye baat kaafi circulate hoti hai ke “Dun Fallow ki female breed nahi karti.”
Lekin Birds Lovers Karachi Pakistan ke apne breeding setups aur observations mein humein aisi koi consistent problem dekhne ko nahi mili jo ye prove kare ke Dun Fallow females inherently breed nahi kartin.
Genetically bhi Dun Fallow autosomal recessive mutation hai, sex-linked infertility mutation nahi.
Agar kisi individual Dun Fallow female mein breeding issue aa raha hai to uski wajah care, diet/feeding plan, nutrition, age, pair compatibility, environment ya individual bird ki condition ho sakti hai—bilkul jaise kisi normal bird ya pair mein bhi breeding issue aa sakta hai.
Ek bird ka experience poori mutation ka rule nahi ban sakta.
