A leading activist for promoting kitchen gardening in Pakistan. Starting with a kitchen garden in my own backyard, as I became an expert, I decided to spread this awareness of, ‘Grow and Eat Own Food’ in every home. Currently, I'm working on projects assisting small, organic kitchen gardeners, and supporting just and equitable access to healthy foods for thegeneral community. I am also committed to the continuous blossoming of the urban agriculture movement. My free service of, ‘lesson with free seeds, is being hired by many NGO’S and also by Pakistan Girl Guide Association.

Here it would be impertinent not to mention my first seed sponsor Kelli Ploeger Hinns (USA) who donated seeds intially for 6 years which made this program a great success. As part of my food sovereignty advocacy, I have conducted numerous free lessons and free seeds targeting communities and colleges.

Since more and more Pakistanis are getting internet access especially women and girls who are on popular social media, I developed a unique way of making event page a platform to give online lessons of kitchen gardening to spread this awareness to every nook and corner of Pakistan. As a result, Pakistani women who are traditionally restrained to stay at home are finding kitchen gardening an out let to get involved in a past time and contribute to well-being of the health of their family.

I am not only a food activist but also environmentalist working specifically to make concept of food trees more popular here.

I have also food tree plantation drive by name of , ‘Bagh e Jannah’, in remembrance of all those who were killed in terrorist acts in Pakistan in schools and public places .

So far, successfully conducted 50 such plantation and planted more than 1500 food trees.

I love what I am doing and I plan to reach out poorest of the poor living either in remote villages, high up in the mountains of northern areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or nomads of Thar Desert.

I was also was a part of team hired by UK’s Department of International Development (DFID) 2015 for their PTV program as kitchen gardening representative in their PTV show The ‘Sehat Zindagi’ initiative focused better health .
