The 4H Clubs of Tumaga District recently held a meaningful Farm Tour and Tree Planting Activity at Campo Vida Agricultural Learning Center, inspiring young minds to connect with nature and agriculture.

In partnership with the Office of the City Agriculturist (OCA) and led by Tumaga District Head Coordinator Ms. Soi Usman, the activity is part of the 4H Club Youth Camp 2025 held in Barangay Malagutay, with active participation from 4H Federation Officers.

Campo Vida warmly welcomed youth participants from 13 barangays across Zamboanga City, encouraging them to bring the spirit of farming back to their own homes by planting fruit bearing trees and crops contributing to the collective goal of food security and sustainable agriculture.

Together, we grow the future of farming!

LOOK! Zamboanga City Sama Bajau women jumpstarted household-based urban food production!

The package of technology provided to the 30 participating Sama Bajau women in Barangays Kasanyangan, Talon-Talon and Arena Blanco in Zamboanga City is part of the Promotion of Women Leadership in Organic Farming, Financial Literacy and Social Awareness for Food Security and Community Development implemented by Campo Vida Agriculture Learning Center -ZC and Kids Who Farm and funded by Manos Unidas.

In celebration of the Women's Month 2025, Campo Vida Agricultural Learning Center conducts Veggie Chips and Vegetable Value Added Products Production.

The training aims to empower women with new skills in food processing and entrepreneurship.

Women participants from Barangay Malagutay and the IP Sama Bajau community enthusiastically took part in the training, which was led by Ms. Analie Mateo, President of RIC Zamboanga.
The activity was facilitated by Ms. Mary Jessamine Pollisco, Campo Vida Training Officer, Mr. Khasmier Attiola, ZABIDA-ASMAE Training Officer, and the Campo Vida Project Team.

This activity is in line with Project, “Promotion of Women Leadership in Organic Farming, Financial Literacy, and Social Awareness for Food Security and Community Development”, which aims to empower marginalized communities, particularly women, Indigenous Peoples (IPs), and Associations in Zamboanga City. A project supported by Manos Unidas.
