Look: A dead snake we found this morning which appeared to be stepped on.

"Calamaria gervaisii" is a species of dwarf burrowing snake endemic to the Philippines.

Due to their small size and being non-venomous, they are considered generally harmless to humans. So if you ever see one, just let them crawl and live another day.
