We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who trusted and supported our clinic last year and for the past years. 2024 was a tough year for many of us but we made it thru by God's grace and your support: our KAVC fam, families and friends, our valued clients, and our suppliers.

Grooming 9am-11am only

25-closed

26,27,28,29,30- OPEN 9am-6pm regular clinic hours

31- OPEN 9am-12noon

JANUARY 2025
1-Closed

2 to 3- OPEN grooming and supplies only

4 onwards- OPEN regular clinic hours

This is Ginger.
Her pawparent brought her to the clinic because she's been experiencing difficulty in urination. Upon assessment of our Veterinarian all necessary diagnostic tests were ordered to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.

Radiographic/x-ray results showed that she has urinary stones.
Her blood tests suggests normal levels except for the platelets which is a little low.
Her Blood chemistry which assess the function of her organ and other bodily functions showed, electrolyte imbalance and inflammation.

The treatment plan was discussed with her owner which involves the surgical removal of the stones
A urinary catheter was placed and she was also given IV fluids, before undergoing surgery.

Surgery was uneventful and she is now on her road to recovery.

The prompt action of the owner especially on ensuring all necessary diagnostic tests were given to their pets led to an effective treatment plan and a clear aftercare advices and suggestions which can contribute to a favorable prognosis of our beloved pets.
