A Kitten’s Journey Toward Healing

Meet 3 Spot, a brave 5-month-old kitten from Siargao who endured a recurring and painful battle with re**al prolapse. Despite several attempts by his local vet to suture the prolapse, it kept returning—causing distress for both the kitten and his loving owner.

In search of a lasting solution, his family brought him to Surigao Pet Doctors, where his case was entrusted to Dr. Oriel. After careful evaluation, the team recommended colopexy, a specialized procedure to permanently secure the colon and prevent future prolapse.

The surgery was successfully performed by our dedicated surgical team: Dr. Oriel, Dr. Arriane, Dr. Nadine, and Dr. Daisy—working together with precision and care.

After several days of hospitalization and monitoring, 3 Spot was finally discharged today—healing well and ready to return home with a brighter future ahead.

Procedure: Enucleation (Eye Removal)

Moonlight was rushed to Surigao Pet Doctors in an emergency — her eye forcefully pushed out of its socket after a severe dog fight. This condition, known as traumatic proptosis, is both painful and critical. Immediate action was needed to save her from further suffering.

Our skilled surgical team, Dr. Oriel and Dr. Nadine, performed an enucleation (surgical removal of the eye) — a necessary procedure to prevent infection and ensure a pain-free recovery.

Just 24 hours after surgery and hospitalization, Moonlight was up, stable, and ready to go home. Brave as ever, she left our doors with one less eye — but still full of heart, life, and love. 🐾❤️
