Patay sa rabies ang isang lalaki sa Cabuyao, Laguna na hindi nakumpleto ang anti-rabies vaccine.

Isang beses lang nagpabakuna si Janelo Limbing, 31 years old, nang makagat ng asong nakatali sa bahay ng kapatid noong August 2024.

May 15, 2025 lumabas ang mga sintomas ng rabies at May 18 naman pumanaw si Janelo.

The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) is strongly encouraging everyone to transact exclusively with BAI-registered animal facilities.

To verify if a facility is BAI-registered, you may contact your respective Regional Field Office of the Department of Agriculture (DA-RFO). Pursuant to DA Administrative Order No. 54, all animal surgeries must be performed in BAI-registered facilities. This helps ensure the safety and well-being of our beloved animals.

For anti-rabies vaccination and spay/neuter programs, please coordinate with your local government unit (LGU). Let's work together to keep our communities and pets healthy!
