ANNOUNCEMENT: DMWMC DOG SHOW POSTPONED

We regret to inform everyone that the DMWMC Dog Show, originally scheduled for today, is postponed until further notice due to Typhoon Signal No. 2 currently raised in Tuguegarao City.

The safety of our participants, guests, staff, and of course, our beloved fur babies is our top priority. Given the current weather conditions, we believe this is the most responsible decision to ensure everyone stays safe and dry.

A new date for the event will be announced soon, so please keep an eye on this page for updates. We are just as excited as you are to celebrate the paw-some talents and cuteness of our canine friends—just at a safer and more suitable time.

Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) is a common but potentially life-threatening condition that affects a cat’s bladder and urethra. It can cause pain, distress, and even death if left untreated—especially in male cats.

Warning Signs to Watch For:

✅Straining to urinate
✅Frequent visits to the litter box
✅Passing only small amounts or dribbling urine
✅Blood in the urine
✅Crying or discomfort during urination
✅Licking the ge***al area excessively
✅Loss of appetite or hiding
✅Distended (hard) abdomen

Why It’s an Emergency:

A blocked urethra can prevent urination completely. Without immediate veterinary care, this can lead to kidney failure, bladder rupture, and death within 24–48 hours.

What You Can Do:

Provide clean water at all times
Feed a vet-approved urinary diet (especially if prone to crystals)
Minimize stress (environmental stress is a major trigger!)
Visit the vet immediately if symptoms occur.
