A case of Unilateral CRYPTORCHIDISM in dog.✂️

Cryptorchidism in dogs is a condition where one or both testicles fail to descend into the sc***um. If not remove, they can develop into cancer/tumor or can cause torsion.

Undescended testicle can be located in various places, including:
1. Abdominal cavity
2. Inguinal canal
3. Subcutaneous tissue (Most common)

In this case, the undescended testicle was found in the Abdominal cavity.
Left testicle - Descended
Right Testicle - found in Abdominal Cavity.

Diagnostic tool: Physical exam, Ultrasound and or X-ray
Treatment: Neutering: Cryptorchidectomy

🚨HEAT STROKE 🚨

🫆Dahil sa NAPAKAINIT NA PANAHON, kami po ay nagpapaalala sa lahat na maaari po tayong magbaon o magdala po ng WET TOWEL/S or mga COLD PACKS during clinic visits.
🫆Maaari din po nating iwasan ang pagdalaw sa clinic (maliban po kung emergency) sa mga oras na 12NOON- 2PM ,dahil po sa napakainit na panahon.
🫆Mabilis lang pong mkaapekto ang heat stress/heat stroke lalo na sa ating mga fur babies at ang nkakatakot/nakkalungkot po ay nkakadulot po ito ng kanilang coma o hindi inaasahang pagkasawi.
🫆15minutes lang po sa loob ng mainit na sasakyan ay maaaring magdulot ng lubos na pagtaas ng kanilang temperatura at magdulot ng coma/death.
