Welcome to Project S.T.R.A.Y: Shelter To Rehabilitate Animals Youth!
Project S.T.R.A.Y. is a nonprofit organization that care for dogs and cats needing protection, attempt to find homes for homeless animals, and reunite lost pets with their owners. We want to provide shelters and other services, such as health services for these animals’ behavioral evaluations, training, and humane education. The purpose of this project is to educate the public and providing much needed resources for cities dealing with pets. We need support we can all give toward their efforts to save, shelter, reunite, adopt, improve animal health and educate the public.
Every day on our page, dogs and cats who are looking for homes are featured. We will help them grow and foster, and enjoy a life that they deserve. These stray cats and dogs will be able to cherish new beginnings with their new shelters and give them a chance to fully live happily with their new family. We care for animals needing protection, attempt to find their homes for homeless animals, and unite pets with their new owners or adopting.
There are over millions of stray cats and dogs roaming around without their own shelter, leaving them alone here in the Philippines. Knowing that these animals are left alone with no food, no shelter, and not even an owner to take care of them, we have come up with solution called-- Project S.T.R.A.Y: Shelter To Rehabilitate Animals Youth.
This project provides:
• Foods and shelter
• Pictures and information about animals that were picked are posted so pet owners who's finding for their pets can find out.
• The spay/neuter services (volunteers and local veterinarians will be contacted) to treat cats and dogs.
• Tips and guidelines on what to do whenever strays are located/spotted.
• Tips and guidelines how to take care of pets for pet owners.
• Adoption (Consult the family first and check if they're viable for the pet they're going to adopt. Provide explicit and transparent information for the sake of both adopter and adoptee).
