Please be guided with our upcoming schedule:

🗓 March 9

🐱 Cats (AM)
⏰ Drop-off Time: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

🐶 Dogs (PM)
⏰ Drop-off Time: 12:00 NN – 2:00 PM

🔬 Pre-surgical Requirements:
• CBC – ₱700 (Required for all patients)
• Blood Chemistry – ₱1,700 (Required for patients 2 years old and above)

⚠️ For Female Dogs:
We will only accept patients weighing 10 kg and below.

❗ Important Reminders:
• Pets must be fasted for at least 6–8 hours prior to drop-off (no food; water allowed until early morning unless advised otherwise).
• Cage/carrier is strictly required upon drop-off for safety and proper confinement.

These brave patients underwent pyometra surgery (emergency spay) — a life-saving procedure done to remove a severe uterine infection. Pyometra can progress quickly and become fatal if not treated immediately.

Issa, an 8 year old dog, was diagnosed with multiple large bladder stones (urolithiasis) and pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection that commonly affects unspayed female dogs. Both conditions can cause severe pain, infection, and systemic complications if left untreated.

After thorough clinical evaluation and stabilization, the patient underwent:
• Cystotomy – surgical removal of bladder stones
• Ovariohysterectomy (spay) – definitive treatment for pyometra

The surgery was successful, and the patient is now under close post-operative monitoring, pain management, and antibiotic therapy.

⚠️ Important reminder to pet owners:
• Difficulty urinating, blood in urine, vomiting, lethargy, vaginal discharge, or loss of appetite should never be ignored
• Spaying not only prevents unwanted pregnancy but also protects against pyometra, a potentially fatal condition

Early detection and timely surgical intervention save lives.
Always consult your veterinarian if you notice any changes in your pet’s behavior or health.
