As expected, we have not received much support for our shelter caregivers. The unsung heroes who lovingly care for our rescues.

These dedicated individuals often go unrecognized, and their pay frequently comes from our own pockets or from little sales that we have. We simply can’t afford right now. We're in a time of real need, and we are reaching out for help. Every donation makes a difference, no matter how small.

Our caregivers are the hands that hold our rescues, and right now, they need your support more than ever. We are two days past due their pay date which is every ten days.

These three tiny lives were intentionally discarded like trash. Left to suffer alone, covered in fleas, anemic, and clinging to hope they didn’t know they had. Today, they’re safe in a clinic, fighting back one heartbeat at a time, and we’re doing everything we can to give them a chance.

This Saturday, we dream of bringing them to our adoption event. Not just to be seen, but to be loved. To find the kindest of hearts who will look past their fragile appearance and see the innocent souls underneath. Desperate to belong, to heal, and to be held.

These are not the dogs most people choose. But we believe in rare hearts — the ones who adopt not for beauty, but for compassion. If you're that kind of soul, we’re praying you'll come.

We’re also in urgent need of help with their vet bill. Right now, donations have been nearly nonexistent, and we can’t do this alone. If you’ve ever felt powerless against cruelty, this is one small, real way to make a difference.

We rushed Red to the clinic last night. He was having another seizure. It’s devastating to watch him go through this, and we knew we had to act fast. This isn’t the first time, and we need to find out what’s causing these episodes.

Red is one of our quiet rescues. The kind souls often overlook. He doesn’t get much attention, and sadly, not much funding either. But he matters. His life matters. Red needs to be confined for further evaluation and observation.

Right now, we’re running on empty, emotionally and financially. We need help to cover his tests, meds, and care. Please, if you’re reading this, consider donating, sharing, or just sending him some love. Every bit counts.

We Need Your Help – Our Caregivers Are Counting on Us

This is one of the hardest posts we've ever had to make.

Our shelter caregivers, the heart and soul of our mission have been going without the support they desperately need. We are currently behind on their allowances and struggling to raise the funds to pay them. These are the people who show up every single day, caring for the vulnerable animals who rely on us. They work long hours, often in difficult conditions, and they do it with love, patience, and compassion.

Right now, we are 16,000 short of what we need to bring their allowances up to date and give them the support they deserve.

They haven’t been paid.
They’re still showing up.
And they’re doing it out of pure love.

We don’t want to lose them. And we can’t do this without them.

Run free Domingo. No more pain.

It’s with a broken heart that we share the painful loss of our precious Domingo. He was so much more than a rescue. He was our family, our companion, and our constant source of joy. His love and spirit will forever leave a hole in our hearts, one that words cannot fully express.

As we navigate this devastating time, we’re faced with an unexpected and overwhelming financial burden from his vet bills. Right now, we are 6,000 short of being able to bring him home and lay him to rest with the dignity he deserves. Unfortunately, we can’t afford cremation, and we’re still figuring out where to bury him, a place that can honor his memory.

We are reaching out to asking for help. If you’re able to contribute in any way, whether it's a small donation, sharing this post, or simply sending thoughts and prayers, we would be forever grateful. Every little bit helps, and every kind word has meant more than we can say.

This loss has shaken us to our core, and we’re doing our best to hold each other up through the pain. Domingo gave us so much love. Now we ask for your support as we say goodbye to him.

URGENT: PLEASE HELP DOMINGO

We just received devastating news from the vet clinic. Our senior rescue cat, Domingo, went into cardiac arrest earlier today. The clinic acted fast. He was revived. But, he's still fighting for his life and needs to stay under critical care.

We are doing everything we can, but donations have slowed down and we’re struggling to cover his daily medical needs. Domingo is one of our most gentle and loving rescues, yet he’s often overlooked. He deserves a fighting chance.

We’re asking for your prayers, your shares, and if possible, your help financially or in any way you can. No amount is too small. Please help us keep him alive.

Today, we came across a heartbreaking sight along the roadside of Shrine Hills. A litter of innocent puppies cruelly dumped and left to fend for themselves. One of them was already struggling to breathe, entangled in tall grass. Had we arrived even a few minutes later, it could have been too late.

These babies didn’t ask to be born into this world only to be abandoned. They are scared, infested with fleas and need urgent vet clearance and anti-parasitic treatment. Most of all, they need something they’ve never truly had. A safe and loving home.
