Mayin believes that the best tanning is tanning by adopting sunlight, with the intensity of light that is made like sunlight in nature and with a good UV content, will make the fish comfortable, the color will be redder and good for the growth of your arowana fish.

The UV content of the MAYIN Tanning Lamp is very high because the Mayin Tanning Lamp is specially designed for Arowana Fish.

The Mayin 13000K Tanning Lamp is made for Tanning small arowana size because to bring out the color the first time, you need white light with higher lumens (not too high because it can cause scorching and stress fish) and UV levels that are not too high.

The Mayin 2700K Tanning Lamp is made for Tanning Arowana with bigger sizes. According to Mayin's research, to expand and sharpen the color of big sizes arowana fish, a more shady light color is needed (fish are comfortable and not stressed), lumens are not too high, but UV levels are high.

The myth that the stronger/brighter light will accelerate the coloring of the fish is NOT RIGHT, the Kelvin and lumens should be right and the UV content is appropriate to the size of the fish to be tanned, will make the fish comfortable, not stressed and red quickly.
