This is Sheena, a Scottish fold that can't decide her color! From tortie, to Chocolate, and now: Dusk.

Did you know cats can actually change color as they grow? 🐱✨

No, they’re not magical mood rings (though sometimes it feels that way). Their coat can shift shades because of:

☀️ Sunlight – just like us, too much sun can “bleach” their fur.
🌡️ Temperature – cooler body parts (like ears, paws, tails) often grow darker, thanks to a gene called Himalayan.
🎂 Aging – kittens can be born one shade and “grow into” their real color, just like babies swapping out their baby blues for adult eye color.
🍗 Diet & health – nutrition can subtly change coat quality and shine.

So if your kitten is “rebranding” their look—don’t panic. They’re just keeping their wardrobe fresh. 😼👗

Sunbae is finally 6 years old. One day, he will be one of my greatest heartbreaks. But tonight, he makes life so beautiful.

Did you know dogs are considered “senior” once they hit around 7 years old (sometimes earlier for big breeds)? 🐾 It feels like they grow up in the blink of an eye.

One day they’re bouncing off the walls, the next you notice they nap a little longer, walk a little slower, and maybe need a boost getting on the couch.

Senior pups may start showing gray fur around their face, stiff joints, hearing or vision changes, or just a calmer pace of life. It can be bittersweet, but it’s also such a beautiful stage. 💛

We can make their golden years easier with softer beds, gentler walks, ramps for stairs, regular vet check-ups, and LOTS of patience and love.

They’ve given us their whole hearts their entire lives—it’s our turn to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cherished every single day. 🐶✨

Hug your senior dog a little tighter tonight—they really are treasures.
