Chimken everyday? Is it OK?
Safe ba na araw araw pakainin ng high protein food tulad ng chimken ang ating Mga pinakamamahal na fur baby.

In General ang High protein diet ay isa sa leading cause ng CKD. Bukod pa sa high salt diet.
To be nerdy about it, excess protein sa diet ay sisirain ang filter (glomerulus tawag dun) ng kidney. This is the state of hyper filtration which will eventually lead to the wear and tear of the kidney. Resulting in CKD then kidney failure and cardiac arrest. Sad di ba.
Recommended daily intake chimken for a 5 kg dog (average weight of a sh*tzu) ay 60 to 75 grams. No salt and cooked.
Sa 3 kg cat average daily recommended chimken consumption ay 1 to 2 tablespoon per day. Gamit po kayo ng vegetable as filler. As much as possible no rice kasi tumataas din cases ng dog and cat diabetes. This is without dog food or cat food. If using dog food or cat food, it is advisable to further lower down the chimken amount, lower down the kibble amount and dilute with plenty of vegetables as filler.
Kung pure dog food or cat food, wag na mag add ng chimken kasi balanced diet na yun. Masosobrahan na sa protein intake kapag nag add pa.
Practice wet feeding instead of dry feeding.
